Terms and Conditions

Terms for using the United Generation Foundation website, subject to organisational and legal review.

Last updated: 20 October 2026
01

Acceptance of website terms

By using this website, visitors agree to use it lawfully and respectfully. If you do not agree, do not use interactive forms. These terms are a draft and should be reviewed against Zimbabwe law and UGF's approved operating arrangements.

02

Website ownership and administration

The website presents information for United Generation Foundation. UGF is responsible for confirming its legal identity, authority to operate and the accuracy of organisational information published here.

03

Mission and intended activities

The website describes community development, youth empowerment and sustainable futures as UGF focus areas. Statements about specific activities, projects, outcomes or partners should be understood only as shown in verified, published content.

04

Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse forms, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, upload malicious material or impersonate another person.
  • Provide accurate information when contacting UGF. Do not submit payment passwords, wallet PINs, one-time codes or card security details.
  • Respect the rights and privacy of people shown or described on the site.
05

Accuracy and availability of information

UGF aims to keep public content current, but project details, campaigns and payment availability can change. Visitors should review the checkout status and provider information before authorising a payment. Website content is not a guarantee that a project will proceed or achieve a particular outcome.

06

Donations and voluntary contributions

Contributions are voluntary. Online methods remain unavailable until UGF has an approved merchant profile, verified settlement arrangement and secure production database connection. No tax deductibility or fundraising authorization is claimed.

07

Payment authorization and verification

Authorization occurs through the donor's own mobile-money service or an approved provider-hosted card checkout. Reaching a return page does not prove payment. UGF records a successful donation only after validating the provider message and confirming the status with the provider.

08

Allocation and reporting

A campaign gift is associated with that campaign when the campaign is active and identified during the giving process. General contributions support UGF's work as determined by its authorised governance. The site does not specify allocation percentages or administrative charges unless a verified campaign or policy states them.

09

Refunds and disputes

Contact UGF promptly about an incorrect or duplicate payment or a refund request. A request is not a guarantee of a refund; the outcome depends on verification, the payment provider and applicable law. No automatic refund tool is offered by this website.

10

Website content ownership and intellectual property

Website design, text and visual materials may be protected by copyright or other rights. Do not copy or reuse material without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law. UGF must confirm ownership or licences for materials it supplies.

11

Third-Party and Partner Organisation Images

Certain photographs and visual materials displayed on this website relate to projects or activities undertaken by partner non-governmental organisations or other third parties. United Generation Foundation does not claim ownership of all such materials. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners. Where applicable, materials are displayed with permission or under the relevant licence. Requests concerning attribution, correction or removal of content may be submitted through the official contact page.

12

Photographic permissions and attribution

The disclaimer above does not itself grant permission to publish a photograph. UGF must verify rights, licences, consent and safeguarding requirements before publication, especially for identifiable children and vulnerable people. Where ownership or permission is uncertain, an image must remain under administrator review. Optional photographer, source organisation, licence and project attribution should be shown only when verified.

13

External websites

External links are provided for convenience. UGF does not control those sites and visitors should review their terms and security information before using them.

14

Service availability and misuse

The website may be changed, suspended or unavailable during maintenance or due to matters outside UGF's control. Visitors must not probe, attack or interfere with the website, its administrators or connected infrastructure.

15

Website Development and Content Responsibility

This website was designed and developed in accordance with requirements, information and materials supplied or approved by the commissioning client. The website owner is responsible for reviewing and approving published content, confirming donation details, maintaining organisational information and obtaining appropriate permissions for third-party materials. The developer does not assume responsibility for legal breaches arising solely from inaccurate or unauthorized client-supplied materials, except where responsibility arises under applicable law or contractual obligations.

16

Responsibilities and limitations

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, UGF is not responsible for indirect loss caused by reliance on outdated third-party information or temporary service unavailability. UGF remains responsible for its own legal duties and authorised representations.

17

Governing law

Zimbabwe is the anticipated governing jurisdiction, subject to confirmation by UGF and advice on applicable law. Relevant frameworks may include the Cyber and Data Protection Act, copyright legislation, Private Voluntary Organisations legislation and consumer protection requirements. This website does not claim that publication of these terms establishes compliance.
