Available payment methods
The checkout presents EcoCash and Visa as provider integration options. A method remains unavailable until it is enabled on UGF's approved merchant profile, its settlement arrangements are verified and the production backend can securely record provider-confirmed transactions.
Campaign and general gifts
Use a campaign option only when an active campaign is published. Gifts without an active campaign selection are general contributions. No allocation percentage or administrative fee is stated because none has been confirmed.
Payment authorization and verification
EcoCash authorization occurs through the donor's own service. Card entry and verification occur only on the approved provider's hosted checkout. UGF does not treat a browser return as proof of payment; signed provider updates are checked against the provider status service before a record is marked successful.
Payment mistakes and refund enquiries
If you believe a payment was sent in error or duplicated, contact UGF promptly and provide the donation reference through an official channel. Do not send wallet PINs, passwords, full card details or one-time codes. Refund decisions require verification and may depend on the payment provider and applicable law.
Costs and receipts
Any wallet, card, exchange or transaction charges are determined by the donor's payment service and should be checked before authorising a payment. UGF has not confirmed transaction-fee reimbursement, administration cost percentages, automatic receipts or tax deductibility. A provider record is not an official UGF receipt.
Donor privacy and restrictions
Personal information submitted through checkout is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. UGF should collect only the information needed to initialise, verify and record a contribution. UGF may decline or return a contribution where required by law or authorised financial controls. Applicable donation-collection authorization has not been verified by this project.
Financial accountability
Only independently verified successful transactions may be counted as funds received. Development simulator transactions are DEMO records and excluded from genuine donation totals. UGF should publish financial reporting and restricted-gift terms only after approval by its authorised governance.
